I came back from Thailand last night, and I am kind of jetlagged so it's nice I have the next two days off work (still have language class though :( ). While browsing the intenet I saw my dear "kessielou" :iconkessielou: had made a new journal entry regarding the drama over her new pairing. I guess I kind of felt some of the points she made were related to the stuff I mentioned in my previous journal...which is kind of cute, as it means she reads it :3

So, more commentary!

"This is for those who are sad about the break-up between Rev & Bia, and those who are already outraged that I paired Bia up with Bat-Mite (despite that I haven't even made one single picture of them together):

I personally am looking forward to seeing these pictures though, they will look hilarious. It makes me feel like making a Mary-Sue to pair up with Jar Jar Binks or something. In all seriousness though, if I read a spoiler about two characters in a show I like being given an awkward pairing I would dislike it even if I haven't seen it happen again (Walking Dead, PLEASE don't make Daryl and Carol get it on!).

1.) How many times do I have to tell you that Bia is just an OC, and MY character?

Indeed, it is your call ultimately. Just as I said though with Tv Shows, books, films, etc...you can dislike a pairing even if they are not your characters.

2.) Why all of a sudden those who hated RevxBia, now miss it? This coming from the same goons that vomited immature words to describe this couple "EWW! IT'S DISGUSTING!" "OMG! IT'S AN ACT OF BESTALITY!" "YOU'RE A SICK FURF*G!"?
If those people still do that crap if I put Rev and Bia back together, then I'm NEVER gonna bring those two back together when all they're gonna do is just make fun it with those words and the lousey hate art.

This part interested me. Keisha, it's not that we "miss" this pairing genuinely...we just miss it in comparison to the new one which a bunch of us find even more ridiculous. I am sorry but that is just my opinion and it looks like I am not the only one. Picturing the cutesy couple pictures are so bad it's funny.

Human/Anthro art and Furry will always attract the attention of people who dislike it by the way. Personally it isn't my cup of tea but each to their own there.

3.) It's time for me to move on like the people behind LU did, and focus on something else.</b>

If you have lost interest in LU then fair enough. It is a little odd that you would want to recycle your sue though rather than just create a new one. Despite what you say, Bia is not developed. A character of her quality could be thought up very easily. I made a Mary Sue for a couple of memes when I was bored and she is probably just as deep...sorry...

While it is totally up to you what you do with your characters, I don't understand why you needed to reuse Bia.

4.) I'm NOT high on drugs or an alcoholic when I came up with the idea.

You are overthinking that comment. People don't mean they think you literally were high/drunk, they mean that this is so random and bizarre that it could seem like that.

5.) I don't care if anybody doesn't like the idea of Bia being Bat-Mite's girlfriend, because that's what makes it interesting.
It's the old saying, "You can't judge a book by it's cover before reading it," you might think it's a ridiculous idea at first, but for now, just wait until I get to the idea. Maybe you'll change your minds, or maybe you won't.

And who says opposites can not attract, or size matters?

Siiize matters!

I don't need your ponography I'm turned on by æøå!

On topic: People have the right to their opinions, and if you dislike them then you should not put your work online for others to view. Some people may grow to like BiaxBatmite but it will of course upset fans of your old pairing. That is just how it is, you can't tell people not to feel bad about it if they do.

Sure, Bia and Bat-Mite are total opposites, but yet they sort of do have a few things in common (I looked over a few things):
*They're both fan characters [except Bia is a character created by a fan (me) & Bat-Mite is a character is portrayed as a fan of a different character]
*Both had their shares of being loved and hated
*Both of them are labled with words like "Jar-Jar Binks" & "Mary-Sue,"  all by first point of view, not by knowing them
*Both just wanted to help their heroes and become one, but their heroes (and a few people) turn them down like it was a mistake for them existing in their world
*Both and from different universes of the franchises they belong in, but they still interact with other characters

As for the size issue, BM has the power to change his height when he feels like it, and there's nothing wrong with dating someone who is vertically challenged.
</i>

Uh, those are not really reasons to date someone. I could pair almost anyone together if I used conditions like that to justify it.

Further more, it's a fictional pairing, and it's nothing to be too serious about.</b>

I agree, I don't think you should be hurled abuse for this as it is just a pairing. I just think you have to accept some people won't like it and that's that. Personally I think it is ridiculous, but do what you like. Just stop complaining that others voice their opinions that conflict with yours.

Ugh, I can only see this ending badly if she keeps this level of bitchiness up towards her fans. True, it's her right to pair up her characters with whomever she chooses, but people will still love Revia and it's only natural they would be disappointed in the change. But yeah it is a but early to decide how this will go, but got more I'll be sitting back to enjoy the show.
